The Grievance Redressal Cell of the college believes in the dictum that every voice is to be heard and every issue is to be addressed with transparency, fairness and justice. It plays a pivotal role in maintaining smooth functioning of the college and contributing to the holistic development of its students. The cell which has been formed as per the Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act 2013 deals with any grievance related to the campus life of the students and attempts to resolve the issue within stipulated time. The objectives, policy and composition of the cell is displayed on the college website.
Objectives:
1. Openness:
To provide an easy access to the grievance redressal process to each and every student of the college.
2. Confidentiality:
To conduct the entire process for addressing an issue in a strictly confidential way.
3. Impartiality:
To address all grievances in an impartial way without showing any bias or prejudice to any party.
4. Transparency:
To ensure transparency every stage of the grievance redressal process to be clearly formulated.
5. Fairness:
To maintain fairness in the Grievance Redressal system all parties involved in an issue to be equally heard and treated.
6. Timeliness
To adhere strictly to the stipulated time framework (within 15 days of the receipt of a grievance) to resolve the grievance.
7. Review
To regularly review the grievance redressal procedures and mechanisms with a view to updating the Grievance Redressal Policy.
8. Documentation.
To maintain detailed records of grievances and their resolutions in the minutes of the meeting of the cell.
