The college is a Post-Graduate Study Centre of Netaji Subhas Open University since 2009. Admission to the Post-Graduate Course is offered in English, Bengali, History, Political Science, Social Work, English Language Teaching (ELT) and Mathematics. Admission to the Under-graduate Course is offered in Library Science. Admission to the Diploma and Certificate Courses in ELT are also offered.

Personal Contact Programmes (PCPs) in the Post-Graduate courses are carried out on Sundays. This is an initiative carried out by the college to contribute to the adult and continuing mass education through the Distance and Open Learning (ODL) mode.

The college is the sole Study Centre for ELT courses conducted by Netaji Subhas Open University in West Bengal.
